Hi there, here some more information about me:
I’m Paul Kaspers a software developer as of age 46 right now (11th April 2020). Living in the Netherlands with my family which consists of one wife and two daughters.
I started developing at the age of 10 on my grandfathers Atari 800XL in basic, only 48Kb of free memory to express yourself in those days. But even then a lot was possible, I gradually learned myself to program in assembly, which was for me in those days quite an ordeal.
Ultimately I grasped the fundamentals of it and started to fiddle with some hardware, from very simple digital to analog converters to a bit more advanced traffic light controllers. Still not professionally though, that came when I left school and started working at a database development company.
From that time on I went back and forth between database programming to game programming for television (nothing to fancy, just the small SMS games you saw on different music channels in the day). In 2002 I started an IT company with a friend of mine, which till today still exists, although in a small setting. I mainly use it to do programming jobs for different companies.
I started this blog because in my professional and amateur development career I bumped into many issues which I could not find a solution for right away. The posts you’ll find here will hopefully help you further in your quest into solving problems.
Please be free to snoop around the site and contact me if you got any question or remark. Also don’t refrain from writing comments, I also want to learn from you !
